Resident Hearing Aid Audiologist in Seaford and Horsham

 

Resident Hearing Aid Audiologist Robert Davies, who has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, realised his dream to run his own family-based business, when he took over Seaford Hearing Care Centre over 8 years ago. Most recently a new branch was opened in Horsham, where Robert is also based.

Robert's career began in a large national multiple-sited organisation, where he soon found himself running their flagship branch in the West End.

Seaford has grown to be a centre of excellence. As a fellow of The British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologist and current Chairman of the prestigious Association Of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals (AIHHP), which promotes the highest professional and ethical standards in the independent sector, you can be well assured of Robert’s credentials.

Every year Robert heads off to the USA.  His mission, to put his ear to the ground on all the latest hearing aid development at the American Academy of Audiology Convention.  This allows Robert to get hands on experience of the latest technology and in turn uses this knowledge for the benefit of his patients. Most recently Robert has trained to be a Lyric dispenser, the service of which he offers within Horsham.

Robert supports the Reverend Muhoro School for the Deaf in the Mukurwe-ini district, near Nyeri on the slopes of Mount Kenya, which he tries to visit regularly. During the visits he is kept very busy at the school, holding 'clinics' and giving expertise on many aspects of ear care. You can find out more about the school by visiting our charity page.

Most recently Robert has begun practicing from our latest branch in Horsham. This branch is able to supply Lyric, which is the invisible, extended-wear hearing aid from Phonak. Having an additional Hearing Centre in Horsham has allowed us to extend our coverage across Sussex. Robert can be found in Horsham on Mondays and Thursday afternoons.
