A rare and exciting vacancy has arisen for a multidisciplined Audiologist/HAD to provide audiological services in our clinics in Sussex. The successful candidate will be based mainly in the idyllic market town of Horsham and this opportunity offers an excellent pathway for progression in the independent sector and to work for a prestigious, long established centre of excellence.
We are a friendly team of dedicated Audiologists who are interchangeable with each other. With responsibility for the provision of premium audiological services with a holistic approach and family centric care.
The successful candidate will be HCPC registered with experience and understanding of most audiological diagnostic tests and safe and effective earwax removal using microsuction, adult hearing rehabilitation and hearing aid fitting. You will be a confident, personable and flexible individual, willing to meet the needs of service and ear care at any of the company offices.
Regular in house and off-site training is held and extra training will be provided to cover any gaps in skill set.
All our clinics are Lyric accredited centres enabling proficient microscope use, skills and learning of peri-tympanic fittings and impression taking. Our Horsham clinic is also our head office, situated in a beautiful 550 year old building, which used to be part of King & Barnes brewery.
The first historical record of Horsham is from AD 947. The name may mean either “horse home” or “Horsa’s home” after a Saxon warrior who was granted land in the area.
The town has historically been known for horse-trading in early medieval times, iron and brick making up until the 20th century, and brewing more recently.
